Some of you might notice i asked a while back about a budget build.

since then i went back to rallying and spent all of my money, but now since im not competing for a while, im hoping to get fixed by playing DiRT Rally and a few other games...

Whats the cheapest or best budget pc that will run the game with great graphics ect, i went from pc to consoles, and coming back to a crap pc, it hurts my eyes with the graphics.

Thanks for any help, and im open to either a pre built PC or build my own, depending on if its worth me building it ect

Thanks guys :D

I dont really have a max budget, but id say nothing over £1500. But i do like things a bit future proof.

Edit: budget updated

Currently id be gaming at 1080p, but i might, but it is a big might go higher res in the near future. But would be happy to stick to 1080p if it meant saving a bomb on the pc

Something like a GTX 970 or R9 390 would be fine for 1080 resolution.

Are you going with an i5 or i7 ? as your spec seems to have an i5 4690K and i7 4790K listed.

You don't really need a soundcard as onboard is very good these days.

I would build rather than get a pre-built as you can choose your own components.

I dont mind too much what i go for, any major advantages to either? As you can tell im no computer guru. I can get hold of an i5 rather cheap but would need to check the other specs on the computer before i bought it

Check which i-5 it is and we will put together the rest for you, a word of advice is that if you go for a socket 1150 cpu then the motherboards are hard to get. Only the second hand market is where you will tget them and will nearlly pay as much as a new motherboard.

Are you getting mixed up with Socket 1155 ? As Socket 1150 boards (Z97) are still fairly current and easy to buy.
