I'm not a laptop buyer myself but have been asked by my bro to get him one. I have no idea, tbh.
I hear Lenovo are decent, being ex-IBM. We have Dell E5430s at work and they are pretty well made.
Budget is £300 - £450 tops.
What to avoid and what to look at? Usage is general office + internet, no gaming, nothing stressful.
Ultimately would like to get something that is reliable and not flimsy. Cheers!
