Budget Media Centre Build?

I currently use a MBP 15" hooked via HDMI running Plex to run my media centre. The MBP is hooked o an external 2TB WD hdd and it does the job nicely. Anyway I want to free up my MBP and get a Mini ITX system running windows and Plex to do the same job.

Needs to have HDMI out and capable of playing 1080p content, No need for Bluray drive just DVD is fine.

I was hoping to build this in region of £300 - £350 all parts including hdd space. Is this possible?

you can use xbmc on windows

Ah so plex doesnt run on windows, could use Ubuntu?

Use xbmc on linux.

will do the trick nice.
