Morning all,

It's been a while since I last built a PC however I am putting something together which I will initially only be using in my garage with my smart bike trainer...not very taxing I know, so am trying to make it as cost effective as possible intially.
Long term I probably won't have the budget for another gaming specific setup so I will end up using this for casual gaming as well running COD maybe a bit of Fortnite etc so over the years will look to upgrade here and there when budget suits.

I've had a look at a few budget PC posts and have come up with the following:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £783.50 (includes shipping: £21.60)

I already have a spare SSD so I'm not fussed about that, but I have included a RTX 2060 which I wondered if is a little overkill?

I have seen the GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER OC 6144MB GDDR6 PCI-EXPRESS GRAPHICS CARD being advised on many sub £800 builds so really wondered if it's worth spending the extra on a better GPU or not.

If anyone has any suggestions on the choices above I look forward to hearing them and obviously if I've selected components that are completely unsuitable (which may be the case) a point in the right direction will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Take a look at benchmarks for the games you intend to play, buying a better gpu than you need will Allow you to accomadate more demanding titles and resolution in the future.

Others will say it a waste of money but that's a choice you have to make.

Forgot to say the rest of the system looks good.

You could add a couple of extra fans to the case as it only has one for improved cooling.

Mite be worth getting a decent cpu cooler especially if your going to overclock the stock cooler can be noisy under load.
