Budget pc build

I have been tasked with building a pc for my brother on a limited budget (for general use and occasional gaming), I plan to use my spare HD5770 and canabalise my old pc for its Intel q6600 and 500GB HDD. Unfortunately the motherboard, PSU and case are useless and will need to be replaced, and the 3GB of DDR2 Ram (1Gb + 2Gb 667Mhz) I have laying around probably will not cut it. Does anyone have any tips on a good motherboard, PSU and case to get? and whether or not I would get a significant performance boost by buying some new DDR3 RAM? I have around £200 to play with overall.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

You could get the cooler master elite 430 case that comes bundled with the 500w power supply, and maybe order some of that clearance OCZ ram that ocuk have up at the moment?

Are there any motherboards you would suggest, the processor uses LGA775, and i only need one PCI -Express slot for the HD5770. i was looking at

(Assuming the elite 430 supports micro atx)

or the more pricey

go for the cheaper one, spending to much on old LGA775 stuff is a bit pointless, and the case does support M-ATX
