Got to spec a budget PC for a work colleague.
The current PC is an 800Mhz Athlon and 640Mb RAM with a 64Mb Geforce 4 MX440. Getting a bit tired and temperamental.
Use is mostly emailing, web browsing.

Thought this might do:

Asus Vintage V2-M2V890 Barebones System - AMD Socket AM2
£59.99 (£70.49)
Liteon DVD-8900 16x DVD±RW/RAM (Black) - OEM
£15.99 (£18.79)
Samsung SpinPoint P HD080HJ 80GB SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM
£25.99 (£30.54)
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition inc. SP2 - OEM - 1Pk (N09-01528) £49.99 (£58.74)
Logitech Deluxe Keyboard (Black) - OEM
£5.49 (£6.45)
AMD Sempron 64 3400+ (Socket AM2) CPU - Retail
£39.99 (£46.99)
Sub Total : £197.44
Shipping : £8.95
Total : £242.51

Would also add 512Mb of Crucial PC4200 memory for £42 but showing out of stock currently.

Thoughts? I assume it would have a reasonable performance hike? I did leave graphics as integrated though to save money.
