I'm in the process of selling an old 1060 3GB and an older 750Ti which have both served me well at 1080p but I no longer have 1080p monitors.

I would appreciate advice re a 1440p card that I can get 6 months out of for roughly the £130 - 150 that the cards I'm selling will bring in. If it's worth £100+ after 6 months, then bonus.

It's only for rpg's, f2p and browser games, so nothing special needed while waiting for new cards to come out and supply to be good and prices sensible.

Thanks JW and Orangey. My initial thought without reading much is to go with the 570 8GB as the whole point of selling the 1060 3GB is to get a few quid out of it while 3GB has some value. Easily the best card I have had in 30 years of PC building that has held it's value and I may even come out ahead after a year. 750 ti was very good too. Can't remember what I paid, but 30 or £40 back is still nice after all these years.

I would need to check. I'm on a ryzen 3600 and suspect the only spare I have for this mobo has no graphics either.

x570 mobo, 32GB ram at 3200, 1gb ssd, win 10, dell 32" 1440p up to lots refresh rate

The 1060 3GB sold in a few hours and is on it's way to it's new home for £10 less than I paid a year ago so I probably priced it on the low side, but have no complaints

I am now looking at 1650 super or maybe 1660 super new as Participant suggested. It looks like 2nd hand are the same price or higher than new, which looks promising and would be an improvement rather than a sidestep. 580RX looks very promising too. Thanks Ozone.

Edit : Thanks everyone. The RX 580's, being older, have lost a little value and I picked one up for £5 more than I got for the 1060 (£90 vs £85 not counting postage and fees, but what I get for the old 750 Ti will cover that).
