The Corsair is the better PSU.

The Corsair definitely has a better reputation. Take it you're not planning on using it for the rig in your sig?!

I was thinking the Cotsair for the same reason - the OCZ has a stack full of recommendations / awards tho so I thought I would check.

building an i5 rig for a family member.

his budget is £550 I have given him my old case and Raid array
with the money he has got the bits for an i5 P67 - with 4GB and GTX 460

Amazing for the money I paid £800 for my first monitor 24" Dell back in the day - first lot of 24" monitor 2405

I am looking at getting an Asus Xonar STX - I see that you have one

How good is it?
How good is it in games?

I have just taken an XFI Elite Pro that I think is mustad out of my system because of sli.

I am looking at 2 options - lesser soundcard / decent headphone amp maybe a graham slee or better soundcard then maybe no need for headphone amp.
I use headphones exclusively Sennheiser HD25-11
