I'm putting together a cheap PC based on an Opteron 146, 2x512 of DDR, 1 hdd, 3850 pci-e, optical drive and a DFI Lan Party Ultra-D. I'm planning on overclocking the 146, although not sure how far yet.
I don't want a cheap PSU that's likely to explode/kill components, but I don't want to spend much on this system either. I'd prefer not to go second hand as this PC could potentially end up in a house with a new born baby, so call me daft but I'd rest easier knowing it was new and reputable.
I'm not really setting a budget, but taking the above specs (and their low cost) into consideration, does anyone have any recommendations for an appropriate PSU?
