Decided to be nice to my son and buy him a new rig. He's always had to make do with my old pcs in the past and he's so been looking forward to Skyrim.

He will be gaming at 1680 x 1050 and already has the rest of the rig (keyboard, mouse, screen, sata DVD drive etc).
I plan to give it a moderate overclock to around 4 - 4.5ghz

Already got these 2 bits as well from my last build:

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5830
(not the most capable card in the world but will tide him over till xmas -hopefully)

Budget is pretty limited and I was originally gonna get a much cheaper case like the Zalman Z9 but then I started looking at the Cooler Master HAF 912, Corsair Carbide 400R, Cooler Master CM-690, and kinda got carried away...still can't make up my mind on the case tbh...

I've got a Cooler Master 212 Plus in my system but I hate how fiddly it is to fit so I thought I'd give the Gelid Tranquillo a go this time.

Is there anything amongst this lot that you'd change?

For example, I keep seeing spec posts mentioning the Z68 boards. Is it worth a move away from P67 at this sort of budget?

Finally, is that PSU good enough? He's never gonna go crossfire or SLi (not unless he gets a paper round).

Thanks for looking. Feedback much appreciated as always :)
