Budget setup for PowerDirector 9

A friend wants to use PowerDirector 9 (system req here), but his laptop is not upto the job and his PC is a bit out of date. He has asked me to help him build something to run it but he has a very limited budget of £250. I think he needs only the base unit (he already has KB/Mouse/Monitor/WinXP)

So any ideas?

Thanks stulid, will these be ok? As looking at the system req's they mention Graphics cards, will the onboard be enough?

All he will be doing is editing some HD videos and possibly burning them to DVD

The onboard will be fine.

A slight sidenote, but is he 100% set on Powerdirector? I found it a pretty horrible bit of kit. Might not help with the question mind!

I think so as I think the software came with the camera.
