Well, I have a pci express 6800gt. And i dont play games enough to keep it, so instead im thinking of selling it (maybe if i get enough) and get a graphics card which would be able to play bf2, not at highest but at 1366x768
as I will be getting a 26 inch samsung hdtv. so the card has to be hd ready aswell. Can I not do that with a budget of £100 if i got that much for my 6800gt? preferably cheaper as I want to try and get 2gb of ram.
Cheers

does the 6800GT not play BF2 well?
i believe a similar card to your 6800GT would be a 6800GS? but it has a few pipes missing (12 compared to the GT's 16) so i dont know if it'd kill performance a lot.

you wont get more than £110 for your 6800gt, and you'd end up out of pocket tbh, doubt you'd be able to get a hdtv ready card for less than £150.
The 6800gt will support hdtv surely?

Keep the 6800GT - for what you'd get for it now 2nd hand, I don't think you'd get a brand new card good enough to play BF2 and do the HDTV you want...

The 6800GT will suit your needs better than any £100 new card, it does HD decoding fine with purevideo.

For pure HD you want to be waiting for cards that will come with an HDMI connector on board.
there isnt any though
atleast not yet anyhow i suppose the next batch that come out *may* have a hdmi connector on the higher end models.
