Howdy folks. Yup, another one of these which I'm sure you're sick of.

I posted a few months back to check a spec, but things have changed a bit since then (budget slightly more, and I'm sure prices have altered a bit). So I was just wondering if you could double check this, and give the usual advice.

1 x Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 2GHz Socket 775 800MHz FSB L2 1MB Cache Retail Box Processor
1 x Seagate 160GB Hard Drive ATA 7200rpm 2MB Cache - OEM
1 x ASUS P5B Socket 775 Core 2 ready P965 chipset onboard audio ATX
1 x Kingston 2GB KIT (2X1GB) DDR2 667MHz/PC2-5300 CL5 Non Ecc 1.8V
1 x Asus 7600GS 512MB DDR2 DVI VGA TVO PCI-E Graphics Card

+ case, comes to just less than £250 (from where I shop online).

I generally browse the net/chat, but I often do more intensive tasks, including video and graphical editing (Premiere, Photoshop, etc). I'm not a huge gamer, but I suppose I've been held back by my current PCs limits, so I would like to attempt to play more recent games (like Bioshock or Portal). I don't need to run everything on maximum quality.

Many thanks in advance

For the budget that looks fairly decent although 512mb Ram is a bit wasted with the GPU and I would change the hard drive to a SATA model and preferably one with 8mb cache also. :)

My alternate choice for graphics was --

Asus Nvidia 7300GS 256MB DVI VGA TV Out PCI-E Graphics Card

Which is £20 less. And so for HDD I could get --

Seagate ST3160815AS 160GB Hard Drive 7200RPM SATAII 300 8MB Cache OEM

Which is only a couple of £ more than the 2mb cache one.

That sound better?
