Hi All,

I'm thinking about buying a secondhand system but I'm on a very tight budget of about £400.

I can get the following system for £430 which although quite old now I think it is still a decent system for 1080P gaming.

Specs are:
Asus Maximus XI Hero
i7-9700k
MSI 2080TI X Trio
32gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200
Corsair RM850x PSU
Corsair H115i RGB AIO cooler
Phanteks case

Is this a good buy for the money?
I know I'll be upgrade limited to a 9900k on the motherboard but I'm ok with that.

I priced up the individual parts on eBay and couldn't get anywhere near the £430 so it looks ok to me as well, although I've not upgraded my computer since I bought a 2500k and 1070 GPU so I'm a bit out of touch with the latest hardware.

I think I'm going to go for it. I have a 2tb NVME drive I can take out of my mini PC which should make it even quicker!

Seems pretty decent to me.

Is it someone you know selling?

If not, just ask to see it running etc in case the card is dead or something.

Yes, It's a colleague at work, they've had it from new although the SSD is older and was used in a previous system. I have seen it running and stress tested with prime95, furmark etc. it's in great condition as well.
