He's been looking at cheap as chips PC's on the net. I suggested I could build one for him. He only wanted a home PC & wasn't that fussed about gaming, but I've put a rig together for him that I think is very good value & will still play the latest games, albeit with the settings turned down a bit. It's not to disimilar to the rig I built myself recently. How does it look?

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (ST3250410AS)
£37.99
£44.64 inc VAT

This HDD would be a better option, faster =)

Apart from that it's a nice spec. Might be worth going for the E2180 for a slight increase in speed, especially if your friend will not be overclocking.

What's the price limit?

I suggested that but he was more than happy with the cheaper 160GB Hitachi.

I suggested that as well (I have one myself) as it goes. But again he was happy with the 1.8GHz model.

Mate ordered this lot yesterday. No confirmation from OC yet & apparently the order status is 'In warehouse que'. What exactly does that mean?
