Budget upgrade! Advice please!

Right, picked this stuff out, trying my best to stay -300 so take a look, I game a lot and my 1900xt is still doing me well so just the listed components needed.

A nice OC spec capable would be a bonus..

Nice setup. To stay below 300, you could change that DS3P for an Abit P35 or an eVGA 650i. You'll love that memory btw, I have the exact same stuff and it's fast as hell

I had to manually set the timings and voltage with mine btw. 4-4-4-15 2T at 2.1v.

The E6750 has far superior value for what its worth, better overclocking option compared to the E6550.

I'm on a budget, anyways I see no reason to pay extra for something thats only better because of its stock clock, I'm oc'ing anyways.

If you're going to be OC'ing anyway have you thought about swapping an e2180 in for the e6550 and saving yourself 50 quid?

How about a cheap jetway board ive seen going for 22inc vat a fastest amd run it stock and just buy more games and another hdrive ?

I was thinking about that but I'm kinda worried about the low fsb/cache.

The smaller cashe wont come into play as your g card will bottleneck the system way before cashe size comes into play.

Maybe a new G card?
