Hi all,

I've not really been interested or paying attention to hardware for quite some time now.

Unfortunately, the last of my 295GTX cards has developed a curious problem (more on this later), which means that I now need to upgrade. I'd prefer to spend ~£100 give or take.

I don't need anything amazing as I only really play Counter-Strike (1.6, Source and GO), Strcraft2, a tiny ammount of DOTA and a little WoW. I do have a dual monitor set-up and tend to watch videos on my second monitor while I play. However, I do know from past experience that some cards greatly over/under perform for their price and was hoping to get some input from people who actually pay attention to this stuff still :D

My current issue with my 295GTX is that it causes my drivers to crash every 10 minutes of so in any game I play (except Global Offensive, where it crashes on load, bt then allows you to play fine, with the added curiosity that about half of your walls become transparrent).

In case people are wondering, or its important in any way, I'm currently running a shuttle with 6 GIG of Triple chan ram and an Intel I7 Extreme at 3.3 gig.

Cheers xx

If you don't mind buying secondhand you can pick up a GTX 460/470 for between £50-£70..

If your not happy doing that, the 7750/7770 is the best card that falls into your budget. Though the 7850 is nearly TWICE as good Performance wise in games and can be pick up for around £130-£140 *B grade*..
