Budget upgrade build with some existing parts. advice please.

So I have been out of the scene for almost a year, and am looking to get another PC (eventually). I want to be able to play planetside 2. I have access to an old unit, that can be upgraded to a phenom 2 (955/965 etc), and overclocked.

I would need memory, cpu and graphics card.

Is it worth upgrading to a phenom chip and memory out is there a better alternative financially speaking?

What do you reckon the cost would be of a chip and ram ?

just get a new rig lol. aren't prices in the usa cheaper cuz there's no tax if you buy online?

What's your budget? A phenom 2 doesn't sound too promising if I'm honest.

Budget is minimal, going to be getting second hand parts.

Prob 200 pounds max (but cheaper is better as this is not a priority for me. Paying for my daughter's private school, dog fencing, fixing the car, dog medication is the priority etc, just looking at options and hoping someone is smarter than me lol)
