Budget watercooling?

Hi, my friend asked me if i could find out how much a decent cooling costs but hes on budget.

Spec: i5 2500k,gtx 570 asus,case corsair 300R,Mobo Asrock Z68 PRO3 Gen3

He wants to know roughly what are the costs of buying everythink and when to change the liquid.

Really no, the OcUK kits are good but you'll quickly outgrow the cheaper ones.
 
I don't believe there is any such thing as "cheap" water cooling. Tell him if he works around the £300-£400 mark then you will have a worthy set up :D
 
Budget efforts revolve around second hand parts and will still make it over £100 easily. More if he wants to cool the graphics card (plus second hard gfx blocks are rare things).

Very cheap cooling can be achieved in DIY fashion, if you have access to a milling machine or lots of free time.

Otherwise stick with air. Air cooling is pretty good these days.
