Budget Widescreen for work

Hi all, I'm looking for suggestions on a widescreen for work purposes.
I currently use two 24" Dell monitors and like the idea of replacing them with a single screen. I'm not sure what size would be best to replace these with...

Samsung used to do a Flat 34" 1080p, I think, for a reasonable price But the current model 1440p model is still around the £300
Still not too bad depending on budget.
