A friend has asked me to take a look at their laptop has it has 'a bug in the screen'. I was expecting dead pixels, but no the discription was right there is a small flea in the screen between the actual panel and the top layer, unfortunatly the user crushed the bug so its not going to crawl away alone.

Is there a way to strip the panel, its a toshiba sattelite p200 series?

I've seen a guide for stripping the laptop chassis but it doesn't cover the display, is it put up with or replace or fixable?

Thanks for the replies, unfortunatly the squashedness of the bug is stopping it been tapped away and looking at the instructions in the link the risk of really breaking it out ways the irritation of it being there. I'll ask the owner what he wants to do, it can be on his head.
