Hi,
Does anyone know where to buy a spray called "Bug Splat"? It's in a spray bottle like Windolene etc, but the liquid is bright pink. I've been trying to find some for ages - same with "Miliglass".

My brother had an old bottle of both, and they are superb for cleaning dead insects off your windscreen and leaving a non-streaky finish. Anyone know where to get either of them, or can anyone recommend a good bug removing spray to have in the car?

Cheers,
Matt

I use ignorance and then an immigrant at Tescos. But actually the ignorance was better as the immigrant failed to remove all the bugs and so now I have to start ignoring it all over again.
I've not tried Autoglym bug remover, but as long as it doesn't melt your windscreen i'm sure it'll do the job.

I'd like to try this "ignorance" - it sounds interesting ;-)

Will have a look at the Autoglym stuff. Have found out a little bit more about Bug Splat, and it looks like it might only be available to the Trade (as my brother has only ever seen it at a cash and carry).

I know autocare do a product called Bug Blaster which is bright pink.

edit: You sure that other product is definatly milliglass, the only thing I can think of thats close is Nilglass

Wow, bonus points for you! I think you've got it right on both scores there! I thought it was Milliglass because the font on an old bottle i've used was so cryptic. That's the stuff though. Thanks very much...

Not sure this would work as well on car, but on the bike I just get a big towel, drop it in the bucket of hot water (& car shampoo), drape it on the bike and leave for 5 or 10 mins, then remove and all the bugs just wipe straight off :)
