Buggered up Wordpress.....can I save pages?

So, I was tinkering with a website I had made, when I made some stupid ass error with the functions.php

Site refuses to load at all, can't access admin area, tried to upload original functions.php with no luck etc.

Is there anyway to save the text etc I had on the site? All the pictures should (hopefully) be backed up somewhere, but the text is new (google cache didn't save it in time) and is quite substantial.

Surely it will be contained all in the MySQL database you used with it?

Yeah, just backup your MySQL and reinstall wordpress (pointing it to the database).

Voila!
