Want to look into building a Shuttle'esqe system for someone. Ideally it will need room for TWO hard drives in it, but onboard video is fine! I've got a pair of IDE hard drives so if it can take those that would be great...

So could I buy a barebones system with memory, cpu and optical drive etc for under £250?

I suspect all modern builds require sata which instantly adds £70+ in there for two HDs! Seems a waste if I have two IDEs lying around unused!

well, this is my best effort;
you haven't really specified much, like if you need OS, etc...
also, not sure why you would want 2 drives, so i kitted you out with a humongous HD, more than two ide's would probably have. if you want two for speed, then well, going RAID sata would be the way forward won't it?

oh and I have left out case, which erm... OcUK mATX cases aren't terribly cheap- google an iBox Cube at other places for about £40.
edit: oh and assume you have £10 free shipping :)

edit edit: oh and cooler. gah drat. way over £250 then :p
