Hi ,
its been years since Ive built a PC so trying to keep it easy for myself.

Already have a 780ti + SSD (maybe SLI in future) - thinking of adding these to the following :-

ReAct MSI Z97 SLI - Intel Core i5 4670K @ 4.3GHz Configurable Pro Gaming Bundle (with I7 / 16GB and H100i cooler)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-005-OG

Corsair Obsidian 750D Full Tower Case - Black (CC-9011035-WW)
(Seems to be the popular case of choice)

Seasonic M12II EVO Edition 850W '80 Plus Bronze' Fully Modular Power Supply
(Seems as good as any?!)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-043-SS

Total price = £823

Im thinking this shouldnt be too difficult to put together. Wanted to check on here that Im not missing anything obvious (or stupid !!)

:)

If this is a gaming build you can save yourself a bit of money and get 8gb RAM. Any more is pointless really.

The 750D is a lovely case, albeit not the best for airflow - which is something you have to consider if you'll be using multiple GPUs.

Not much wrong with the PSU, but if you'll be buying before the offer ends on Wednesday I'd spend the extra £10 on this gold-rated EVGA unit:

YOUR BASKET
1 x EVGA SuperNova G2 850W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply £99.95
Total : £109.55 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Thanks for info - this is a 100% gaming build.

Is 16gb really pointless for gaming ? (I will be dropping to 8gb if so)

Any other case suggestions - air flow is a concern as my 'man-cave' is more like a 'man-cupboard'

Some alternative cases:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Graphite 760T Windowed Full Tower Gaming Case - Black (CC-9011044-WW) £144.95
1 x Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Black (CC-9011030-WW) £98.95
1 x Corsair Obsidian 450D High Airflow Mid-Tower Case (CC-9011049-WW) £91.99
1 x BitFenix Ronin Tower Case - Black £69.95
Total : £436.38 (includes shipping : £25.45).

You won't see any benefit from 16gb RAM.

Thanks, that Corsair Cube case looks ideal !

if you're thinking about going sli, getting a 4770k would be a more sensible choice. the 4670k can bottleneck sli 780ti

Thanks for the advice, I have ordered the following :

Item
ReAct MSI Z97 SLI - Intel Core i5 4670K @ 4.3GHz Configurable Pro Gaming Bundle
Corsair Hydro H100i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (CW-9060009-WW)
Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black/Red (HX24C11BRK2/8-OC)
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM
Standard Build Laptops - Approximately 3 to 5 working days
EVGA SuperNova G2 850W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply
Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Black (CC-9011030-WW)

Bits arrived on Friday - took me the day to put it together (the H100i was pretty daunting !)

However, all went smooth and the system is absolutely stonking !! Crysis 3 and even Watch Dogs running silky smooth.

Really happy with the choice of case - its an absolute monster but looks really tidy inside and is staying amazingly cool.

Sounded like a hovercraft when I switched it on - Ive set up a custom fan profile and can't believe the low noise level with 6 fans on the go !

Bottom line - Im a very happy bunny :) :)
