Build a new pc now?

I need to build a new PC primarily for gaming on a budget of £1200 but should I wait for Conroe? go for an AM2 now or go with a 939? what will be the best for my money, I can wait an extra month or so if need be...

Yup but I would wait to see what MB come out for Conroe in the coming weeks

You don't seem in a huge rush so your best bet is to wait for conroe. You can then either buy a conroe system or take advantage of reduced price AM2 systems, depending on what happens to give you the bets price/performance.
