After some advice on build for my brother this christmas - he currently is using the parents i5 laptop to play his games on, minecraft, garys mod etc.
He has asked for a system for christmas with the intention on getting into PC gaming more and has also asked for the new COD to go along side.
I know £350 wont go far in making an amazing gaming PC but can I fit one in within the budget that will run the latest games even if the settings have to be turned down slightly?
I want to get the best value for money and its likely he wont be able to upgrade until this time next year so I need something thats going to keep up for a while.
These are the two I've come up with quickly - both are over budget (£350) and ideally would like the build to come in slightly cheaper. No monitor, keyboard/mouse or OS required.
Is the i5 worth the extra £40 over the AMD? Is the graphics card good for the budget?
