I'm Australian... felt I needed to confess this. Hello!

My work is paying for it so this is my self budget.

Alienware 55 OLED Gaming Monitor: AW5520QF
RTX 3090 / Aorus RTX 3090 master
i9 10900K
DDR4 3800MHZ 32GB
2TB SSD
GIGABYTE Z490 AORUS PRO AX /Z490 master
P600S Eclipse/ SL600M
Corsair rmx 1000W
dark rock pro 4 / noctua nh15 chromax
and no idea about the rest yet...

Hi

You want at least an 850w psu and probably better off with a 1000w to cover all eventualitys.

Corsair rmx is a good choice with 10 year warranty.

Cooler wise looks at the dark rock pro 4 or noctua nh15 chromax but make sure they fit the case you choose

Alternatively you could get an aio Water Cooler for your cpu. Size is dependent on case preferably a 360mm.

I want the founder's edition because I like the look of it, but if I don't get it early next year I'm not going to be choosey. What's the difference between them... if that's what you were talking about haha

Silly me missed the motherboard
GIGABYTE Z490 AORUS PRO AX is a solid choice with wifi.

No I was talking about cooling for the processor
Oh. This will be my first build, I just started researching this today.

I'm living in South East Asia and I saw on youtube that PC's can get damaged during transport, so I thought I'd bring the parts and build it myself.

When you said Corsair rtx, I thought that was talking about the GPU?

I didn't even think of cooling, I only had the idea of fans in my head, I'll look at that now...

Corsair rmx is the power supply but there are other decent makers like seasonic , superflower.

You need to pick a case that will accomadate all the parts.

Lovely case but big which givex you plenty of options inside
I don't know. I'm trying to find a motherboard, I found a list online for that case, it mentioned the
ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme Intel Z490 EATX Motherboard (edit: didn't see your suggestion, I'll go with that!!), but there are no calculators to help me. (Looking up videos about cooling now.)

Same CPU, just clocked slower. Save yourself some cash and overclock

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £997.68 (includes shipping: £8.70)

Show your wife this if white

Corsair do white dominator ram at 4000hz but pricy . Should be in Aus as well

But with the cash and not paying for it. Z490 master, Aorus RTX 3090 master ( 4 slot monster GPU ) and P600s or Dynamic 11 LX

Also, wait till the 8th...

Just saw this part... Thank you, had no idea what ram to get, that sounds good. Wow, and for the GPU advice, I like the look of the founder's edition but I don't understand the difference yet, will do research. Thank you so much/1

was referring to this comment for all things white etc.

what is it you are doing for work ? Zen 3 coming this month may match or outperform intel etc .

aorus pro AX is solid. Intel 11th Gen coming next year will unlock to top m.2 for pcie 4.0 nvme standard as well as the GPU slot - runs at 3.0 standard with 10th Gen .

aorus will be the coolest card, but its so thick! a full 10mm thicker then rivals and does look like someones installed an xbox x into the case. handy if thee riig is left on 24/7 etc

I invest in the stock market.

I'm sold on intel... lol Edit: I've thought about this a lot, and the bottom line for me isn't about the performance but the looks, if AMD started making better looking bits than intel I'd go with them

aorus pro AX is solid.
Oh my God, I saw he suddenly ended the conversation and I was thinking, what have I said?! Read back and had to cringe.

I was going to wait, but when will the 11th i9's be out? I'd think about waiting 6 months, but if the 10th will do the trick why bother?

11th will be a while, next year Q2 i believe

£5k budget for stock market is overkill... but for 4k gaming on OLED tv then it does nicely haha

would have said LG 49" OLED would have saved some cash but seems a few issues with RTX3*** GPUs that need a firmware update to correct :(

Thank you orbitalwalsh, going to bed, if you need any advice from my area of expertise I'd be glad to help.

(Though don't know if I can sleep... really excited haha, have wanted to do this since I starting looking at pc builds online)
