I'm speccing a new system. I'm after something that plays modern shooters, but not necessarily at max settings. I'm not intending to overclock (I know
), would like a quiet system (but not obsessively so) and want something that's fairly dust-proof (it's sitting on a carpeted floor).
The spec below is pretty-much at the top of my price bracket, but I'm thinking of changing the GPU to a 768Mb GTX 460. Any suggestions for quieter 5770s or 768Mb 460s would be appreciated - I'd be willing to spend a little more to avoid a Palit 460, for example.
O/C don't seem to do a 955, so I went for the 965. I almost randomly picked the motherboard, which is probably not the best thing to do. I'm not intending to Cross/SLI later.
