Build advice for video editing, maybe gaming.

I have begged, borrowed and bartered to get these parts so far and I'm in need of advice to see what else I need or need to upgrade.
The main purpose of this build was to record and edit videos of pokemon gameplay to upload onto youtube.
But I would like to eventually start playing games on it. I like my old games like Caesar III (yes that's the last time I had a PC) but I would love to play Skyrim in more pleasing graphics than PS3.
The list of parts so far:
Bitfenix pandora window case (Paid£10)
Acer AAHDD3-VC Motherboard (free)
AMD A10 6700 Quad core CPU (free)
Kingston 2GB and 4GB (Total 6GB) RAM (free)
Nvidia Geforce GT620 1GB DDRS GPU (free)
Powercool x-viper 850W PSU (Paid £20)
Monitor is HP and is ex office and not the best (free)
Mouse and keyboard ex office and (free)
Windows 10 will be given to me (Free)

So the obvious I need is HDD and/or SSD but what else will I need to get up and running.
But how do the parts look to you guys? What will I need to upgrade first (Probably everything)
And you have guessed it, I want to do this as cheap as possible.

You should be fine on that spec for Skyrim, the 600 series cards came out after Skyrim so maybe medium to high settings, might have to bump it down to 720p for a better frame rate though but you should be good to go. Video editing will be a struggle but not impossible.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been at Crufts all day.
Good to hear I will be ok to get going with some games even if it's at a lower res. Hyperthetically though, what would be the first thing to upgrade, graphics card maybe? And what one would I best get?

GTX 660Ti are about £60 second hand

A used graphics card on ebay/gumtree. Doubt that graphics card is up to the task of running any game even at low settings with a playable framerate.

Ok so I could get a cheap gpu, but I could be wasting my money? Do gpu's degrade in performance over time and usage?

Everything degrades overtime just make sure to test it before you buy it for any faults and you'll be fine for a few years.
