My current gaming PC is now severely lacking on nearly all fronts , Im currently running a I5 9600K , what ever mobo came with the bundle i brought at the time and 32gb of RAM in 4 sticks ( double it for 16 at a later date ) , I was running a 1060 up till it gave up on my early last year I think and I was forced to bite the bullet and pay the crazy prices graphics cards were going for , and at the time I was also really limited to what people had in stock , I ended up with a 3060ti and also upgraded my PSU to a Corsair RM850 as the 1 I had was about on the limited for the card
anyways that all said I am now looking at upgrading the CPU/MOBO and RAM ( NOT the card as I just cant afford it for about another year I expect ) I've done a lot of looking around and the the same AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D keeps coming up top of nearly every leader board so I'm thinking thats where I go but what about the rest of it

This is what I put together late the other night to give me something to work from as I try to get what i want in order before the sales start , ignore the fact its all white as that really isnt what I intended but when i looked at the mobo someone had already paired it with that CPU and everything else just happened to be white

I really cant afford to go higher than this and I need to consider getting another NVME as well , I really dont care about what it looks like , RGB means nothing as I cant even see the PC where it currently is , any help , advice is very much appreciated and I just hope this made sense as again I decided to write it just as I was going to bed

and just to clarify I already have the 3060ti , RM850 PSU and the case

It's pretty much fine, you could get a cheaper board, a better cooler and faster memory (or go slower, as the X3D doesn't care that much).

E.g.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £629.93 (includes delivery: £0.00)

With this cooler.

Good to know , the mobo was something i really know nothing about and just went with what looked right and had a decent amount of USB's on the back as most cheaper boards I looked at didnt have many and yeah the cooler probably not the best but most of them seemed to all be around the same price so I just chucked 1 in the basket to get a rough total price
