Hi, so I'm finishing my last year at college and I'll be starting University soon. So yeah, summers here and I want to build a new PC and get a few good months of quality game time.

So far the parts I have chosen are

Asus P6X58D-E (not sure if the Premium version is worth the extra cash)

Corsair Dominator Tri Channel 6GB (3x2GB) PC3 - 12800 1600MHz DDR3 C7 (I like the low latency)

Intel Core i7 930

nVidia 480 GTX (would prefer to get an EVGA)

(Currently using a Corsair TX 750 watt PSU)

Planning on getting the 850 Corsair Gold power supply if it's released any time soon and my current wont be suitable for the job.

Lian Li A77F (Black)

I don't really want to spent anymore than £1500 ish, I already have a hard drive and what not and don't intend on buying another unless the SATA 3 hard drives are quite a bit faster.

Anyway, I'd like some advice and feedback please... just in case there is somethin' I could improve on without spending a lot more cash.

Not sure if i've forgotten to mention anything, anyway.. Thankyou. :D

Oops, forgot to mention.. i'll be using it to render quite a lot of 3D stuff in 3DMax/Maya

Watercooling scares me, it sounds pretty complicated and I know pretty much nothing about it! :)

Didn't really consider an ATI card, would the two 5850's out perform the 480 as I see it comes to a similiar price.

Thanks for the feedback so far.

Hmm, the 800D is probably one the nicest looking cases i've ever seen to be honest. Not too fond of it being made out of steel though.

I think will end up buying the Corsair cooler, not sure about getting the bundle though since I already have a 750watt psu.

I'm a bit of a Lian Li fan boy so i'm not sure if I'll choose another case (it does have plenty of room for large graphics cards and it's not something I want to change again anytime soon if the cards get much larger)

just a quick question about the RAM JCBeastie, why is it that you've chosen 1333mhz memory rather than the 1600mhz?

Blu Ray sounds good :) I thought it'd be more expensive than that.

Definately appreciate the help.
