Hi all,
I'd like some advice on a build. I'm looking to put together a PC which is going to serve as a personal computer/gaming machine (but I don't need really high end graphics) and a CG rendering node (the latter requirement limits the component choice to Intel i7 and Nvidia, but not Quadro). As to the budget, I'd like to keep the price around £1000 (without monitor).
I used the Overclocker's system configurator with "Intel 10200i Configurator - Extreme Gaming System" as a base and put together this build:
Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz Quad Core Processor (with 20% overclock)
Asus P8Z68-V LX -Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
OcUK GeForce GTX 560 1024MB GDDR5 Graphics Card [I'll ask for Ti version]
OCZ Agility 3 60GB 2.5
Seagate Barracude 1TB SATA 6Gb/s HDD
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB 1600MHz CAS9 Memory Kit [I'd prefer 16GB]
Corsair Obsidian 600TM - Mesh Edition Case
Akasa Venom CPU Cooler
OCZ ZS Series 750W PSU
(and all other bits as necessary)
Is there anything you'd change? I'm especially not sure about the motherboard - I just took the default one. Are the OCZ PSUs any good, or should I get one from another manufacturer?
Thanks,
Jane

Thanks for the help, especially the tip about SSD. I'm probably not going to need SLI in the future so that's not too critical. I will do some research about the PSU and see what comes up.
