Here is my next build that will be used for gaming and productivity (design, video, audio). The budget is in the region of £5000 and I'm looking a system that will make a statement and reflect my style and work (for example, industrial, sophisticated sci-fi, cyberpunk, dark).

- Intel Core i7-7700K 5.1GHz (Kaby Lake) Socket LGA1151 Pre-Binned Processor
- Asus ROG Strix Z270E Gaming Intel Z270 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
- NZXT Noctis 450 Midi Tower Asus ROG Edition Case - Gunmetal Grey/Red
- NZXT Kraken X62 AIO Water Cooling Unit - 280mm (top mounted)
- NZXT Aer P 140mm Static Pressure PWM Fan x 2 (for push/pull for the above)
- Avexir Tesla ROG Series 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C15 2666MHz Quad Kit
- Asus GeForce GTX 1080Ti ROG Strix OC
- WD Black 512GB M.2 2280 SATA 6Gbps Solid State Drive (system drive + design software)
- Samsung 960 EVO Polaris 1TB M.2 2280 PCI-e 3.0 x4 NVMe Solid State Drive (audio + video)
- Kingston HyperX Savage 960GB SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps Solid State Drive (gaming)
- EVGA SuperNova T2 1000W 80 Plus Titanium Modular Power Supply
- BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 PSU Cable Kit, EVG/SF-Series - Red
- BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 Magnetic RGB LED Strip x 2
- AOC U3477PQU 34" WideScreen (I already have one of these and will be adding a second)
- Red sata cables as needed

In the future I am looking to add a second GPU in SLI and at least one more HyperX Savage 960GTB SSD.

Any thoughts you may have are welcome.

@davidmt83 - It's not optimal for gaming but gaming is only part of what I will use this system for. The AOC screen has beautiful, accurate colour and works great for productivity. As I already have one I'm going to get a matching screen as I have mis-matched 21:9 at the moment and it's a bit awkward, especially when it comes to colour.

If you want to 'make a statement and reflect my style and work' then you could design and make your own computer case.

Ideally that is what I would like to do to but the time, skills and tools involved for that are what I'm lacking. It is on my list for a future build though. Could you point me to any good bloggers or places where I can learn more?

Thanks, @screamBoy

I've removed the monitor and will use my existing kit for now.

I will be using G.SKILL Trident Z memory but this will take a few weeks to arrive so the memory listed below is temporary.

I will be adding a second GPU in SLI and replacing existing monitors with two new AOC 21:9 g-sync screens as well.
