My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £927.17 (includes shipping: £12.30)

Looking to go with the above to replace my ageing 4690k build. Will bring my EVGA 750W PSU and R9390 GPU across to the new build while I await the Nvidia 3000 series launch.

Anyone able to suggest any better suggestions? How does the 3700x get by on the Spire cooler? Should I look to budget a cooler?

Also is it worth waiting for the Rizen 4000 series in October?

Thanks!

I would hold fire till ryzen 4000 as I doubt your gpu is being bottlenecked, you will also have more choice over motherboard options too with X670 and B550 being available by then and with the new Gpus also coming out around that time.

You could get a faster gen 4 nvme for cheaper than the Samsung.

Thanks, good call on the NVME.

For the GFX card I'm actually thinking of swapping with the Vega 64 from my other build as it's getting less use.

Think I'll wait for B550 at least

3700x has the Wraith prism cooler (The RGB one)

4000 Series, too early to tell. Wait for reviews. If you want one get a 3300x as a stop gap, Reviewers are salivating on how good it is for the money, especially for gaming & less than half the price of the 3700x.
