I have a HP MicroServer N40L server but I would like build a better server but much more powerful CPU.

- Same server size
- Much powerful CPU
- Must be VERY QUIET like a HP MicroServer N40L
- 7 drives bay

What hardwares do you recommend?
 
Same size, more powerful and not more noisy are kind of opposite goals. Nor is getting 7 drives in the same space!!!

Need to find yourself a 55W or less Core i3, with a microatx motherboard and a case of your choice.

I run a core i3-3220 passively with a large heat sink and a exhaust fan, the noise is mostly from the 7 WD greens spinning.
