Hi all,

Been out of building PCs for years now!

My current setup just gave up on me.. kept it going but I feel it's time for a new setup as it was starting to struggle on modern games.

Could you build me something approx £1000 budget.

Don't include case/monitor/OS/keyboard/mouse.

PC is purely for gaming.

Bear in mind that 6 core/12 thread AMD chips (Ryzen 5) are expected within a couple weeks. My advice would really be to keep your system going a bit longer (if it doesn't completely die on you before that

). If Ryzen 5 gaming performance is reasonable enough, and the price is right, there'll be few reasons to go for a four core/four thread Intel processor anymore.

PSU is the new CX Bronze with 5 year warranty, not the best around but better than the old CX and Corsair enjoy good customer support reputation. Can't really spot a better deal for £48 at OcUK just now.
