So, I'm soon to be building a new computer and have budgeted roughly £1k for it, that's not a hard limit as you're about to see. What I have currently is:

I'm tempted to replace the GTX970 with an R9285 which will bring me a lot closer to my desired £1k mark but not sure if that's a good idea.

For reference my computer will be used for gaming, from things like Skyrim, Archeage and FF13 to things like Dota and Starcraft, so nothing massively demanding graphics wise. I also have no intention ever of overclocking.

Bearing all that in mind is there anything to change? I have a 240GB M500 waiting in a box and Windows 7 somewhere which will complete the above build.

Cool, forgot to mention I dual screen my monitor, this time it will be with a 24" 1080p, although that shouldn't be an issue.

Are Seagate hard drives still a bit dodgy with reliability? I have a massive music and games collection which pushed me to the 3TB WD.
 
Ive had a couple, both were still fine when I sold them on. I do have a 3TB Red at the moment and need yet more space so I am thinking of buying a 3TB Seagate so I have 2x3TB.
 
Would you recommend one over the other particularly (the Red or the Seagate), there's only a £3 difference between the two and I guess there's not a lot in it.
