So decided I may as well push the boat out on new build and spec it to last rather than budget given the last one made it 10 years

GFX card I already have is a saphire 7900xt nitro+

This is what I thinking for the build

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £874.97 (includes delivery: £0.00)

These will all work OK together right no obvious gotchas I've missed?

I was thinking the gaming nova but the new b850 seems to give the same "future proofing" of no lane sharing, pcie 5 gfx and wifi 7 and 3 m2 slots.

My current psu is a very old bequiet 850w model with The old P8 conector rather than the new 8 pin 12 volt mobo connectors so I think I will need to upgrade that too.

What's a good one that will have the 2 8 pin mobo conectors the asrock needs and the new 3.1 12v gfx card conector as that should future proof me for my next gfx upgrade in however many years.

Case wise thinking the c8 curve or the fractal north. Not too sure.

Cheers

Looks fine.

If it can handle a 7900 XT Nitro, it is probably fine.

One of the 8 pins is usually sufficient for the motherboard and they include adapters for the graphics 12/16 pin in the box of each card.

There's often good prices on the TUF (Asus), which Anandtech reviewed:

I'd suggest one of these from what is in stock. The HCG is derived from Seasonic's Vertex (similar, but minus 2 years of warranty) and the Leadex was reviewed recently here:

The C8 Curve is a nice looker, for sure. Not great value though, compared to a case like Lian Li's 216, or Antec's C5 ARGB, which includes the fans (2x160mm and 1x 140mm for the 216, 7x120mm for the C5).
