Does this look acceptable for a £600-650 gaming pc for mainly bf4/hardline , rome total war 2 and WoW.
I apologise for the Copy/Paste but I am not sure how to link them like other posts.
Regards.

Is there anything that you feel could be improved upon without compromising on price? The component I am most confused on is the motherboard. I was not sure on the pros/cons of 970 / 990x. I do want to try and futureproof this computer for as long as possible.
Regards.

Unless your looking at adding another GPU in the future the 970 range will be ok. Future proofing is difficult to do.

I believe this 970 motherboard has Xfire support. However, would a 990x offer improved speed to the second graphics card if this was applicable.
Regards , I appreciate your feedback

Thank you. I may think of adding another GPU in the future as time progresses.
One more question. Would you say my choice of motherboard is a good choice? As the range of AMD boards is slimmer compared to intel.
Sorry for questioning all this. I just want to be right with my choices as this is quite a lot of money.
Regards.

You'll need a more powerful PSU for a second card. See below for a very decent 750W in the Intel spec made for comparison:

Missing cooler as stock would do for now till you wanted to overclock. Yes, it's more expensive than the AMD build but will futureproof you a bit better, and CPU is better for gaming. Z97 motherboard will take some future Intel processors yet to be released.

Having said that, if you can't stretch, your AMD build will be fine (just add the 750W PSU to sort you out for CrossFire).

Thank you. I would like an Intel build within that budget but I don't really want to sacrifice on the GPU. Really can't push it to that price. I can afford it. But I am already pushing it with my fiance by increasing from £550 (originally) to £630ish hehe.
Regards.

I think the build you posted is very good, no need to change to intel IMO, if the budget were £700/£800 though, it would be the case..

All good choices. :)
