Ok I finally managed to get the money for the rest of my PC which I plan to use for gaming and image/video/3d rendering. Just wanted to get it checked out to make sure it will all work together.

It's gonna be my first build so I'm pretty sure it won't work straight away as theres always some thing wrong xD. I'll try to keep it updated with pictures and stuff if people would like to see the WIP.

Anways this is what I have already:

The thermal paste and remover is for another PC so forget about that.

And this is what I plan to buy:

The two worries I have are is the RAM going to work with that motherboard?

And is the Titan Fenrir cooler going to be too big for the case/motherboard?
The reason I have bought two coolers is because one will go in another PC.

If you've spotted any other issues or an alternative then please do say, thanks!

1.swap that hdd out for a samsung spinpoint f1
2. you'd be better off inveesting at least an extra tenner on a headset
but apart from those two things it all looks good to me

If I were you, swap out the optical drive for this (better writing accuracy, faster and lightscribe).

That RAM should work fine - but this stuff would be a better deal.

If you swapped out the HDD for this or a samsung F1 you would not regret it.

If you already have a Titan Fenrir, don't get AC Freezer 64 - the Fenrir is leagues better and will fit in the antec 300 just fine.

on the headset comment, i have that headset, and its perfectly fine, a lil bit uncomfortable if you have it on for a long time though. could just be my large ears though.

Thanks for the reply everyone, I have indeed swapped the HDD for the Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB SATA-II 32MB Cache. And the Artic Cooler will be going into another Pc so I will still buy that.

Also it says on the motherboard specs that it supports 1.5v RAM, is this the max voltage I should go for or can it take higher?

One final question though for those that know about the motherboard is that will it require a BIOS flash for the processor to work or should it be plug 'n' play?

Once again thanks!
