Build Check Gaming PC

Two monitors will be ok, but I wouldn't game on them (thats if you can setup a 2 screen stretched display) as you will have the bezels in the middle of the action.

Unfortunately the price of the KFA2 Geforce GTX 770 EX OC 2048MB went up to £259.99 and I was only willing to pay up to £220 for my GPU, have you guys got any suggestions on what GPU I should purchase instead?

I was thinking about one of these but not sure which one in particular.
Please help.
Thanks.

Thanks.

Always good to keep your options open lol

I haven't played with 280X's. Have played with two MSI GTX 770 Gaming's and haven't a bad word to say about them except they cost a bit of money. 1250MHz with a couple of clicks. And very quiet.

There's not much between them, either way, according to reviews. It mostly depends on the game. On Watch Dogs, a 770 beats even a 290 (there are reasons for this to be fair, it's not about the actual card but driver/game engine optimization). But in other games, it'll be beaten by a 280. And so it goes.

If anything, the deciding factor could be the extra GB of VRAM the 280X brings, as that would be beneficial for resolutions higher than 1920 x 1080.

For 1920 x 1080, toss a coin. Heads or tails. At the end of the day one won't be better than the other at "everything".
