Fellas,

I have settled on the following - any absent components are otherwise accounted for (gfx, hdd, OS etc), with the exception of a PSU on which I would appreciate some advice:

Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4 (I want the 4 for the firewire)
Zalman CNPS10X
Intel Core i7 860 (maybe the i5 750 if I'm feeling tight)
Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

I am planning on using w7 primarily doing lightroom, maybe hackintoshing for aperture, and of course a little FM2010.

First of all, can we agree that the above seem like reasonable matches for each other?

Second, can I drop in another 4gig kit like the above with no consequences at a later date?

Third and finally, if I am running four(!) 7200rpm HDDs, a radeon 4870, and a minimal stock voltage overclock, what kind of PSU should I be looking at?

Thank you all for your attentions :)

Ooooh H50 I like it - thank you all :) Definitely no skimping on the PSU then - I'm erring on the side of the corsair, and like the HX for the modularity - 750 gives lots of wiggle room in the future. Finally a little clarity :)

My only remaining question would be how wise the choice of RAM is - I notice the CAS8 for a little more money, or even going faster than PC3-12800 - your thoughts, gentlemen?

Thank you, n1blo :) This is as I had suspected - I suppose I will be ordering as soon as I man up and push the button ;)
