Looking to spend around £1000, will be primary for gaming BF4, ArmA 3 and the usual PC stuff with the aim of being powerful yet quiet as possible!

Intend to reuse a Crucial 128GB SSD and my Asus Xonar D2 I have already but replace everything else. No need for a CD Drive or to change the case as I have my heart set on it :)

Why would you recommend the GPU, Mobo and PSU over what I have chosen? :)

The GPU is awesome (I have the 670 version of that cooler), you can't even hear the thing once you tweak the fan curve using MSI afterburner or something to around 30-40%, temperatures are amazing with it.

The mobo you chosen is just way overkill in my opinion, you don't need that.

Seasonic are boss, best PSU guys around.

I can get onboard with a Seasonic PSU, I see them recommended a lot round here. Is there any particular reason why? I kind of want to keep that Mobo as it has built in Wifi and is black so will look good once its bolted into the case but feel free to recommend something else :) Would you say the Windforce is quieter and cooler than the IceQ?

Done it for me, PSU is very reputable and you don't need 760w for a single card, The gigabyte card is fantastic as it has a triple fan plus very good performance, the motherboard can handle xfire/sli and is brilliant for overclocking, plus Gigabyte has UK RMA so if you have any issues you don't have to ship it around the world. I also changed the heatsink for the 1 up, as it's dual tower and has 2 fans. RAM changed as it overclocks like a beast and is the same cost as what you put and the harddrive is faster!

Just because they use the best components to build their PSU's with, you can pretty much guarantee nothing will go wrong and if it does, they have great warranty's and support.

Yes, the windforce is quieter and cooler.
I have mine on a constant 30% fan speed, no matter what and temperatures never go above around 65c while on BF3 and other games, also its pretty much inaudible.

Won't recommend a motherboard because I don't personally see the point in spending a fortune for one which looks pretty unless you need specific functionally or you have a window on your case, with lights etc and you want to pimp it out :P

Cheaper LED RAM that is colour coded to the mobo (there is THIS low CAS kit cheaper still). Mobo has wifi and bluetooth as well as proper Xfire/SLi support, with other freebies I quite like it too :) XFX PSU is a seasonic unit really, HDD has a faster spin speed too.

If you want to style it going blue really helps you get great value kit and excellent performance.....

The HIS and the EVGA 670 are external exhaust which is good if you intend to run twin GPUs. AMDs Xfire does have microstuttering in some games which is why I used the 670 (on a black 680 PCB and cooler) earlier.

Thanks, I might pick up the Avexir RAM instead. I will admit I'm drawn by the LEDs :P You persuaded me with the PSU and GPU also so thanks! Is there anything else I should be recommended? :)
