that totals to £1024 - a friend recommended parts and I chose suitable ones matching what he said that were available from this site. Im thinking of overclocking the processor but not substantially - main thing im worried about is cooling, will the two case fans be enough? There are of course a lot of cases available but im pretty darn picky about looks - and i dont want it to be plastic / plasticy looking (NZXT Zero looks plasticy / is plasticy, i dont know which).

Other cases I like the look of are the wavemaster - ive got one already but with only an 80mm exhaust it might be needing another from what ive read, the other case thats interesting is the lian-li PC-A10, so if anyone has views on any of the meantioned cases that would be great :P

Ram and PSU - i dont know if they are the best I kind of just picked ones in a hurry.

GPU - Ive heard some great things about the 8800GTS 320mb - good price / performance.

All suggestions welcome, thanks.

EDIT: I forgot to add a sound card, but I do want a dedicated card in the final build rather than on-board.
EDIT 2: Added soundcard to spec.
Edit 3: With this setup, do you think the 420w supply i have lying around at home will be good enough, or am i gonna need a 500+?

ah, i thought i had selected the intel e6300, missclicked i guess,

i was bound to be off on ram, psu and HDD (i forgot to mention this one was also one i selected fast :p) As i didnt know anything at all about which were the best companies etc for these components i thought i would just select one that looked to be a reasonable price and see what people had to say.

Thanks for your help, will take a look at all the mentioned items, if anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to chime in :)
