Considering building a new system and just want to make sure everything is compatible and recommended.

I chose the motherboard so that I can add another 6950 later if needed and run both at full speed.

Any input is appreciated :D

You'd be better of with an ATX sized motherboard so that you can have some space between the graphics cards if you go Crossfire. Much better for cooling.

RAM with the taller heat spreaders can interfere with some CPU coolers. I'm not sure if this the case with tha Akasa Venom but low profile RAM like this is a safer option.

Do you have, or not require, a HDD? A 120GB SSD will soon fill up with 10GB games.

oops I didn't realize it was micro, will have to look again at the motherboard.

forgot to say, I have a 750gb and 2tb drive from my old system that I will be taking out. and I will use my existing copy of windows 7 pro :)
