Build check

D3HP isn't good for Crossfire. You'd want the D3H.

The OC is the best board around that price, going lower then the D3H is a good choice.

Stick with the H100, then you can get any ram you want. I had a refurb and have had no problems whatsoever. Just find out if you can get a 240mm rad in the case.

For Crossfire ideally you need the PCI-E lanes to run at 8x 8x, like the 3 mobo's suggested, from what I understand anyway.

The D3HP runs at 16x 4x I think.

For the price difference I'd go D3H personally, as I doubt you'll see any noticeable gains from the more expensive board, unless you actually need any of it's features.

The OC is better board, it's as simple as that. The D3H is perfectly good though if you want to spend less money. They're both compatible with the rest of your spec.

It may be a better board, but in terms of real world performance, what will the OP actually gain from it?

1) e-peen
2) Higher stable overclocks (even at regular levels)
3) DisplayPort output (much higher resolution)
4) A couple of PCI slots
5) 3/4 way Crossfire support
6) More USB ports
7) Switchable BIOS
8) Other stuff, as I prefer even numbers

From that list only number 2 sounds useful to be honest, though from reviews the other mobo's clock very well, so I would imagine the difference would be 100MHz or so at best?

Number 1 is very important of course, and number 2 isn't just about clock speeds but durability (higher quality components and better VRMs = less chance of failure). PCI slots are useful for a lot of older cards, especially sound cards, TV cards, network cards, etc. Three way crossfire is hardly not useful when you've bought 2 already...

This guy has multiple threads going which is a waste to be honest. Looks like he wants to "waffle" till he hits 100 posts for free P&P

The Ronin could ideally do with a modular PSU. I've already done him a spec (see HERE) with the Corsair 540 which wouldn't care if the PSU was modular or not.

If the OP actually wants those features that's fine, I'm just asking the question, because I doubt he does, but will be paying for them anyway.
