Good morning all! Im looking to order the below today hopefully, however Iv'e lost my touch with PC hardware as my last build was about 6 years ago.
Asus Rampage V Extreme USB 3.1 Intel X99 (Socket 2011) DDR4 EATX Motherboard
i7-6800K 3.40GHz (Broadwell-E) Socket LGA2011-V3 Processor - Retail (BX80671I76800K)
Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C15 3000MHz Quad Channel Kit (CMD32GX4M4C3000C
Asus GeForce GTX 1080 "Founders Edition" 8192MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card
Corsair Force LE 240GB 2.5" SATA 6Gbps Solid State Drive (CSSD-F240GBLEB)
****Corsair AX1200 1200W ATX 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply (CMPSU-1200AXUK)****
**** I'm not sure if i need to upgrade my power supply, I currently have an Enermax MODU87 700w running my Rampage III Extreme and ATi 5870. Have the motherboard and graphics card power connections/requirements changed much since 2010? With the new proposed spec my power requirements are around the 600w mark so I presume that power wont be an issue, I am more interested in the connections side of things. I will be water cooling too and that has been taken into account as well when I done a quick PSU calculator check on the Enermax site.
