Hi looking for some final build advice as I am concerned and dont want to ruin the machine.

1) Got Phanteks G400a case but power supply has been installed upside down with the fan facing down and the writing being wrong way up is that ok?
2) Come to plug the CPU PSU cable into the motherboard which is a 4 pin cable but next to that on the motherboard also a 2 pin cable? Does that also need power?

1) PSU will be fine, the case has vents at the bottom so the PSU will get clean air from outside the case. (as long as it is not on a carpet)

2) Do you mean 8 pin and 4 pin? Using just the 8 pin is fine, thats what i have plugged into my MSI board and have had no problems.

Thanks its better but cant work out what I am doing wrong. Machine powers on but onboard fans are spinning along with AIO fans but the onboard fans RGB lights dont turn on but AIO light fans do. Plus fans keeps spinning 100% and BIOS comes up with error message 'please ensure your CPU Cooler is properly connected to the CPU consider dropping CPU fan speed lower limit'

Are you talking about a fan connector? I'm not aware of any power connector that uses just 2 pins. The motherboard manual should tell you what it is

Sometimes they will do until you each Windows, depends on the fans and the board.

How many fan connections does the AIO have, just the one, or? Did you use a header specifically for an AIO / pump?

RGB connections are a bit complicated, but would need to know what the AIO is.

Manage to fix it all and get RGB work. all fans are connected to the AIO Hub but now all fans are running at 100% even changing Bios setting and armour software does not change this
