Build Critique please (Prodigy)

You might want to change the memory to 2x 8gb DIMMs if you want 16Gb and the psu might be too long to fit properly. Also looking at the wife's prodigy was considering getting her a H100, it'll fit but you won't be able to have the optical drive then.

Any reason you've chosen such a powerful PSU?

Something around the 550W - 700W mark would be more than sufficient if it saves any money and could be a bit shorter.

Can only reiterate what others have posted. The psu (If i'm not mistaken is 200mm long?) wont fit in. And the motherboard you've chosen only has 2 dimm slots, So you'll need 2x8gb ram.

A few people have single rad watercoolers in their Prodigy at the back, So yep they fit in alright.

White and Silver? then wait for the windowed side panel for the case or mod it :D?

Certainly fits the theme mate...looks like an epic machine :D I'm desperate to see some proper Prodigy M builds.

I personally think the 690 and TITAN are pretty poor value.

Its a shame you want a small rig as GTX 770 SLI would out perofmr both cards for less money.

Or the 7990 :)

Could always get the GTX 770 as that has the same style of cooler as the Titan as well ..... or failing that GTX 780 to keep the theme ;) could do a mATX red & black theme tho.

I like the idea of the 770 with the titan cooler. :)

I still think the 780/690 and TITAN are massively overpriced.

What I find crazy is that small is more expensive...

You just need to think about it subjectively..

To fit the same/simular features in a smaller product requires more design times, possibily better (smaller) components and new processes.. Its not just about its smaller so it must be cheaper, its the opposite..

High-end furiture can be sold for £1000's even though it could be such a small simple table but the design/manufacturing and contrstuction cost going in to it will have been huge.
